From 10-20 May, 2017, the Robert Bosch Academy in cooperation with the German Commission for UNESCO hosted a workshop on cultural diversity.
Mike van Graan, Richard von Weizsäcker Fellow, and Christine M. Merkel, Head of Division for Culture, Communication and Memory of the World at the German Commission for UNESCO facilitated the workshop at the Berlin Representative Office of the Robert Bosch Stiftung. Together with 22 participants, generally critical thinkers and leaders in the creative and cultural space from around the globe, they explored the 2005 UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions and its relevance for our contemporary world.
